I had such a hard time with this book. It was the SA themes. I just can’t read that kind of content. But I know this series is a fan favorite and part of me wishes I could power through.
The first book was SO SO bad imo. If I was a DNFer I would have for sure. It’s gets so much better in the rest of the series and I think the history of her trauma is important to the character development but damn I did not need to actually read it so graphically.
I really enjoyed the first book. I found it super compelling. But I actually started to struggle with the third one. I love how everyone connects with different parts of a series in their own way.
